Why it always have to be patronising/distinct academia intellectuals, tech or business people that (some ofcs) got us into divided society as well as the populist are doing with their tactics?

I often miss, in all of those professions that should solve mentioned issues, the ones that are in touch with regular people and understand their nature - social workers and other related fields.
