I stayed there a few years back and am so disappointed it closed! Ok, the rooms were tiny, but immaculately clean. The decor closely resembled a 1970s social club, but the staff were friendly and the beer was good. There was a powercut, bur the lit candles and we drank bottled beer!

Since reserved grandstand seats at Silverstone next year start at £110 (139 eu) for the 3 day weekend, they're not the best example to use....

I know it was on Discovery +, TNT sports etc. There will be short highlights on the BSB website (BSB TV), and probably on YouTube. I will be there all weekend in October, but in hospitality on the Sunday (birthday pressie!). Would love to see you.

Had a great day, thankyou. And yes, that would be great. Will be at Brands again for the final round in October, if not any of the earlier rounds. The racing was good today in all classes. V fast, v exciting!

Really enjoyed this one. It begs the question of just how committed to this project JM89 was in the first place. (With hindsight) his demeanour both at his contract announcement and later weren't exactly overflowing with enthusiasm......
