It’s all sickening. The most shocking to me was JD withdrawal from the consent decree in the wake of the George Floyd murder, which seems specifically designed to give themselves cover for current abuses.

And if you read the Minneapolis findings and the remedies we negotiated with the city, you'll see they document retaliation against journalists or civilians who film the police, the use of weapons or tear gas indiscriminately in a crowd or law enforcement agents hiding their identities. And we're seeing federal agents do all those things now. There was a statement from the Justice Department in court saying you can't do these things. They took that statement away, and now the federal government is the most prominent violator.
