Warigia is also an APS grad and a mom of APS students. She’s spent her life teaching, mentoring, and fighting for educational opportunity.

She brings the heart of a teacher, the mind of a policy expert, and the values of a New Mexican deeply rooted in service.

She also champions expanding mental–health supports and restorative practices, while insisting on accountability from district leadership.

Bob Wofford’s leadership has made a real difference for Las Cruces schools. He's worked hard to improve student outcomes, raise teacher pay, and make our classrooms safer places for our kids to learn.
