I believe every person living between the Mediterranean and the Jordan has a right to self-determination, and I'm agnostic on whether that should take the form of one state, two states, or a confederation. And that has to start with ending the genocide in Gaza and coming to terms with the Nakba.

When people ask, "Does Israel have a right to exist?", the embedded implication is "Does Israel have a right to maintain a Jewish voting majority in perpetuity, above its obligation to enfranchise every person living there?" And if you ask that latter question, the answer would be very different.
Pro-Israeli apologists for their crimes, seeking to portray every critic (including Jewish ones like me) as anti-Semites, often will ask, "Do you believe Israel has a right to exist?" My answer is "Do you believe these murdered Palestinian children had a right to exist?"
