We have three important empirical findings:
🥇Non-left-wing parties substantially decrease their environmental issue emphasis in response to electorally successful Greens (but only at the same political level).
Left-wing parties, however, do not increase their environmental issue emphasis more.

👉Once parties are in government (especially both at the regional & at the national level), they are forced to also focus on other issues than just the ones they 'own'.
