Alternatively study something that bores you shitless but has great earning potential. Then when you get that massive income job that you hate you’ll at least have money to distract yourself from how miserable you are by buying stuff that helps you pretend you’re someone else.

Remove/ reduce loopholes. Collect the tax from the high end, maybe put rates up a bit. Invest in health, education, research & infrastructure. Then you generate more revenue from the mid to low earners as employment rises, pay goes up & they spend more. Only tax avoiders lose out

It’s hard to see what we stand to lose if people who don’t like paying tax leave the country. Maybe someone who pays decent wages & their tax can take over their businesses? Maybe someone who needs it can live in their house/s?

This debate was always false on in my opinion. early lockdown gives time to get public health working. Then open up & continue to control & know transmission rates. This reduces risk until vaccines & treatments. Effective when used together but the more argument between camps the less effective

Has there been any change in the ability to identify the cause of death between 1973 & now? I.e. if more people are more accurately being diagnosed as having cancer before they die then you would expect to see some increase in cancer mortality rates wouldn’t you? Or some correction needed?
