Because they ARE losing money, and have lost money every year of their existence. If the NBA wasn't already subsidizing them they wouldn't exist. The NBA can do that because the players go along with it. Corporations have shareholders who aren't so liberal with their money.

Corporate sponsors and networks would walk away entirely rather than lose money in some sort of subsidy scheme. They are in business to make money -- just like the players, I might add.

Does this "raise the question" that Trump is mentally declining, to the point where he no longer recognizes truth? Or does it "raise the question" that Trump is a compulsive liar who has no regard for the truth? If a Democrat did these things a narrative would exist by now.

His greatest hit was, for weeks, scolding people for not knowing what the word "genocide" means, when in fact, it was HIM who didn't know the definition all along. Truly an insufferable troll.

Trump himself is what he is. What I can't get over is the number of people who voted for him, and the number of people who are fanatically devoted to him. I had really thought the U.S. was better than that.
