As each day passes, the White House becomes darker and smaller, a lonely house. Inhabited by tenants of shame and void, it begins to shrink into its own anguish. A once proud structure diminished by limited, mediocre minds.

Democracy is now in the crosshairs. This is what we have to decide now: whether to preserve a democratic society that values choices and individuals, or to align ourselves with superpower and aggression. That is the choice before us. Decide now.

Out all this fear and anxiety and loathing and mistrust, even hatred; we must find our way back to the America we know that we all want. We must find a way to heal enough so that we can at least have conversations, find workable solutions, even at a snails pace, toward goals that work for all of us.
