Black-crowned Night Heron at Grimley CLP yesterday afternoon. I watched it between 2-5 as it perched in its favourite tree, sleeping (a lot), occasionally preening, scratching, wing stretching and halfhearted fishing. It moved a meter along the branch in 3 hours #WorcsBirds

Black-crowned Night Heron just flown into SE corner of Grimley CLP, perched in its favourite tree, view from south causeway. At 04.45 it was perched in the cormorant trees briefly, before being flushed by a Grey Heron. Also Little Egret 22, Great Egret 2, Hobby 2, Green and Common Sand #worcsbirds
