📢Excited to share a new paper from my PhD thesis at @fisioklima.bsky.social!🌾Sorghum maintained better photosynthetic performance and water use efficiency than maize under high CO2, hig temperature and drought, even without a growth advantage. A promising climate-resilient crop!

Did you know that buckwheat🌱 can cope with extreme drought? Our research found that while wheat and spelt suffer under mild drought, buckwheat maintains high water-use efficiency and photosynthesis under extreme drought conditions. A suitable alternative crop for the future drought episodes!🌾
