I've had the misfortune of accidentally touching several toxic spiny caterpillars. This is one, a Stinging Buck Moth caterpillar I found in the backyard.

The bats aren't attacking them, so the acid hasn't
kicked in yet. What a great metaphor for the Trump shitshow.
