Two number 1 votes is a spoilt vote. The returning officer must decide who the voters preferred candidate is. They can't do that if there are two 1s or no 1 but two 2s etc. An x in one box may be accepted if it is the only mark in the ballot paper etc. In a tight race it can become complicated!

I presume it includes Belfast. The dots represent numbers/cases rather than location.

Not surprised by MHR on 27% but am by Billy O'Shea on 14%, same as Norma Foley, given the talk about discontent re his selection etc. Everything else as expected but a few % less for O'Shea and a few more for Cahill and there will be an upset.
Also think there are many shy DHR voters!

Interesting to see the emptiness of north Kerry! I'd imagine they've been canvassed heavily as there's no local candidates to choose from.
