I’ve finished reading it and enjoyed the journey of the story.
I didn’t feel, as others have mentioned, that it’s like reading two different books. Yes, there is a change of scene in the second half, but it builds on the first part.
It’s a 4 out of 5 for me.

I just started reading his folk horror book, The Ritual. It’s very good so far.
