Yes, there are extensive manual backups and various graceful degradations built in. Same as an airbus A-380 has. Many of the "glowing buttons" are hidden until needed behind cover panels. Right now Crew Dragon is (C)lassified but I look forward to a future coffee table book showing these systems.

Yep, and you can’t just make “instant lumber” - the fastest a company could sustainably add lumber capacity in the US is 10-20 years. Most of a generation would pass and by then demand would be even higher.
