In support of democracy and Ukraine and against all authoritarian regimes whether it is Putin or Trump
Don't get me wrong. Iran suffers under a terrible regime. I support the people in their fight to overthrow it. And it's good that the US will help them. But in another nation people are suffering under a fierce war. A war to stay away from another terrible regime. Why is #Trump not helping #Ukraine?

Russia is losing its allies fast. After the Assad regime in Syria, the Islamic Republic of Iran is falling. Maduro in Venezuela will likely fall next. Soon the only allies of Russia are #Trump and Kim Jong-Un.

While democracy in the US is fading day by day, Ukraine shows the world what true democracy looks like. It’s a bold move by Zelenskyy to say elections and referenda are possible during war time, when security guarantees are provided. But the US will not provide that.

The US doesn’t bring peace and stability in the world, on the contrary, it brings chaos and fear. The so-called peace plan is a capitulation plan and encourages other countries to take what isn’t theirs. Europe has to take action in helping Ukraine to win the war now!

If phase 2 of the sanctions against Russia is just as provocative as phase 1 …. nothing will happen. Besides blaming Biden, Ukraine and Europe that is. #Trump

I’m still impressed by what Ukraine is achieving in defending its own sovereignty, despite all the opposition from the US, the reserved support from Europe, the indifference of countries like India, the veiled support from China and the undisguised support from Iran and North Korea. Slava Ukrayina!

Russia first thought that when they have the US (read: #Trump administration) on board the would have a free pass to win Ukraine. But they have a tougher nut to crack with Europe, that understands more what’s at stake. Russia gets more and more afraid of Europe, hence the rising rhetoric we see now.

The best chance for #Trump to receive the Nobel Prize for Peace is to stay out of any negotiations, because he can avoid World War III. So far Trump has made thing worse every time he speaks to Putin.

I must say I’m a little disappointed about #Trump ‘s statement. He has downplayed the tariff proposed by the Senate to a 100% and still gives Putin an opportunity to prolong this war against Ukraine. Still keeps on saying “It’s not my war, it’s Biden’s war” that started in 2014. But it’s a step.

The G7 is an intergovernmental political and economic forum which is organized around shared values of pluralism, liberal democracy, and representative government. That is the reason Russia and China aren’t part of this forum. Come to think of it, do the USA still qualify?
