Ha, interesting (or not?!). I got the very same one some time ago from the head of a larger German university. Seems a larger (scam) scheme and - to give them benefit of the doubt - the heads might not even be aware.

Fully agree. A targeted training for those, who take up this role, is a much more efficient approach. This btw holds also for those other roles that go beyond research in its core and we are (voluntarily or not) thrown into
