Residing in the wonderful Moonraker county. Living with Glioblastoma. Proud of my wife, less proud of the grumpy cat.
Another week and another 'must win' game today. If we get a result and the other two don't, then the win and being out of the relation zone will bring some optimism and hope #stfc

It is so terribly sad to see what we have become and how little hope we show. #stfc

I am going to see our grandson at the Nigel Eady stadium today where he's a mascot at the Morecambe game. I'm very much looking forward to it, and excited. COYR's. #stfc

We are awful. Accrington show weaknesses but they want to win. We're just not threatening. We could lose this 4-1. #stfc

I've just read the #stfc Advisory Board minutes from 7 Nov. My helicopter view is nominal progress on club responsible activities. Agenda #1, Monthly Financial Update, no update, only the concert and future considerations. It still feels like 'just getting by'.

Wow just wow. The Holst's Planets at the Proms by the RCM Symphony Orchestra, on BBC Four. Just sublime. Loved it!

Some people from Swindon having a day out at Poole Quay today courtesy of Barnes Coaches. It's sure to have been a great day.

It's always a lovely stroll along Poole Quay. Had to hold on to the hat today though.

I really enjoyed reading this piece, especially the section on the now lost 'new town' in Poole harbour.
In a great piece for Works in Progress, Samuel Watling has highlighted how important location and economics are for the success of New Towns. (🔗 at the end)

We’ve known that for a very long time and it got me thinking about King Edward I learning the same lesson.

We've not won in the first round of the cup for 10 years. 2-0 down this evening seemed like the norm but fought back well to 2-2, and playing positively. And then we hemorrhage two in 2 minutes. Swindon must do better #stfc

Tom Daley, what a guy. His first Olympics was 2008 when he was just 14. He retires 16 years later with numerous Olympic and Championship diving medals. The nation are proud. You did great Tom! Thank you.

That set of chemo all last week certainly emptied my tank of energy. I'm eager for more energy, it's just not coming back as fast as I'd like this time.
