Someday, in a not so distant future, mobile phones will include a light LLM-powered phone call assistant that will handle marketing calls and make support calls efficiently in the background.

For those building. That's a product I would buy.

For us, consumers. That's the final revenge.

@bsky.app makes it really difficult to have personal data servers. Every now and then I do hit this "Invalid handle" thing this time due to Cloudflare DNS migrations. That's a pity.

This is a scary one. Bump your cursor if you haven't done it yet.

They call it vibe coding because YAARDD ( You are absolutely right driven development ) was too long.

Sorry Claude. You can beat me at coding but you will never beat me at this. Not this century.

Goodbye M3 Max. I'm going to miss this one. 15 consecutive years on borrowed laptops. That's something.

This is a great example of how a hobby OSS project escalates to be a full time burden.

Allegedly +$10k to be an @openssf.org member. He has a point about being less "open" and more a "pay-to-play" game if true.

Amongst other things, there's an open source software supply chain story here. This Android library with 174 stars and one maintainer has taken down many banks in India (in 2023), and "80% of the food delivery market" in Brazil (right now).

I've been vibe coding some data processing Python and heck, the amount of crappy code that we will have to manage during the next 5 to 10 years is going to be insane.

Now, once these bots are polished and we have them well trained... Well. It's game over. There will be software engs but other type.
