Well, I didn't mean it in a depressing way. I'm going off of what the late author Marshall Rosenberg said in his book.

Here's some notes I took from that book that explain what I'm referring to:
A note entry in the notes app. Title is "Rosenberg", body is "1. What do you do in your life that you don't experience as playful? List it. All those things you tell yourself you "have" to do, because you perceive that you have no choice. 2. After completing the list, clearly acknowledge to yourself that you do these things because you choose to do them, not because you have to do them. "I choose to..." 3. Get in touch with the intention behind the choice by completing the statement "I choose to (action) because I want ()" For money, are there other ways to get that?" More note text. It reads: "Money is not a need, but one of countless strategies to meet a need. Choosing to do something for a reward is costly. There's a world of difference between doing something for others in order to avoid guilt and doing it out of a clear awareness of our own need to contribute to the happiness of other human beings. The first is a world filled with misery, the second is a world filled with play. 'Doing something out of duty.' When we speak a language that denies choice, we forfeit the life in ourselves for a robot-like mentality that disconnects us from our own core."

progress on a thingy I'm making!

I wanted to try my hand at making something like the old flash game Raft Wars, but in the LÖVE framework!

Prototype will just include a cannon, a ball, and a target. I have two of those three things done already!

I have a new plushie! She had a name before I got her so her name is Angelina

she is an angel and so she's very pretty. practically glowing! Her fur sparkles and despite her magnificent likeness, she loves each and every person she sees. Even you. And so do I :3

Got an absolute steal today, my local thrift store had a build-a-bear Sylveon plushie! (And a Rudolph plushie!)
