We need to inform the humans of the world about the facts of climate change. We need to teach critical thinking. We need to challenge analyses that are not rigorous. And we need to show visuals of forecasts and of positive change.

Yay, Coho! Here's a photo of a coho hen making her redd (nest). She's flipped onto her side and is pumping up and down, creating hydraulic pressure to dig a trench in the pebbles. Understand that she is starving and will die soon.

I've been photographing the return of the salmon, both chinook and coho. Yesterday's first sighting was this massive chinook hen in Lagunitas Creek below Shafter Bridge. She is literally as long as my forearm.
