Is this real? Because I, born female but also muscular in my youth and 20s (now mostly fat 😩 but anyway…) was once directed to the men’s restroom by a salesclerk when I was 13-14 years old. Traumatizing at that age ofc. Later, insecure men would comment on my muscles. Pretty damn horrible

I’d heard of extravasation and knew the signs. When my own cancer treatment leaked out of the vein, it wasn’t “dangerous” but it *was* a reminder of self-advocacy & the many ways patients are gaslit #cancersky #cancer www.curetoday.com/view/iv-comp...

The phrasing I’ve heard sounds like he is stage m1b (metastatic spread to distant organs). This is info from the NCCN and ACS about advanced prostrate cancer. btw I have lived over 10 years with cancer that metastasized to my lungs. Thank you for the good wishes and best to you

Once at cancer mtg where a drug was called “tolerable” from the stage w/high low-grade SE % & at least 1 grade 5, which a more experienced patient told me meant death. Also fwiw, pls partner with patients themselves, who are not mentioned as sources of knowledge here #cansky #language #patients
