This is the current WIP situation. All the arcs are sewn to the centers. Next step is ironing and trimming. Then sewing the circles together. The top right nine are together. #quiltmakers.bsky #quiltersofbluesky

I love sewing curvy seams by hand. My needle is bent but it still works. I think sometimes of how precious the lowly needle is to civilization. #quilting

Having a splendid day. Did some portrait practice with #drawingisfree and now taking some sock knitting to sit with a friend while she draws.

Made her for my 44 yo daughter. We call her Peony after a long ago pony statue that I once bought her at a craft fair. Peony #1 one was ceramic, and broke. Felted peony is a bit more resilient. Thinking of making a few more of these if anyone is interested. Not toys. More like an object d’art.
