Given his age, recent performance, contract and the Cardinals strong desire to move him, the return won’t be much. But I believe that it will be more of an addition by subtraction. Removing his temperament from the clubhouse should provide a bump.

I honestly don’t care about the return they receive for him. At this point, I’m just ready to move on from Arenado.

I think they are poised to be a really good team next year. Especially if they unload Arenado. Great player, but he isn’t a winning player.
