I was not planning to paint this morning. A while ago, I was bundling up to clear my walk and driveway (about 3" overnight). When I opened my front door, someone had cleared it for me. I suspect one of my neighbors is responsible for this kindness, and I painted this quickly, so I would not forget.

It's the notion that there is no perfection - that there is a broken world and we live with broken hearts and broken lives but still there is no alibi for anything. On the contrary, you have to stand up and say hallelujah under those circumstances.
