Needed a Chinese ingredient today. Walmart had it. Amazon had it. Went to a local small Chinese grocery market and found it. Paid $2 more but well worth not giving my money to Walmart or Bezos.

Des Moines Water works, which has the best filtration system in the US since the floods of 93, put us on water restriction. The system could not keep up with the heavy Nitrates. Our water tastes like shit. I just bought bottled for the 1st time. I refuse to drink Cancer.

You just described my mother. Raised 6 kids with no money from my dad, no welfare and worked 7 days a week selling paint and wallpaper. And yet we grew up in a middle class neighborhood. This was the 70’s. Today’s CEO’s are lazy paper whores.
