Okay, so, I read through the PCGamer article. It mentions both having Knuckles-like strap options as an optional, as well as this little sentence:
"Haptic feedback is included along with capacitive finger sensing on the buttons, grips, triggers, handle, and thumbsticks." (cont.)

I know mine isn't a fix or an alternative, but I've taken to using Spotify/YouTube/Tidal for music discovery and then making batch downloads for WACUP.
