explanation for Fumiyo’s name; Wesley, Akechi’s Great Grandfather, was an American Kogoro Akechi fan who moved to Japan. He met his wife because her last name was Akechi. They named their son Kogoro, & Kogoro named his daughter Fumiyo. Goro was named to hold the tradition :D

I see a lot of people depict Akechi and his mom with a typical relationship, but, because of how he is, I like to think that they had a more complicated relationship that feeds deeper into Akechi’s understanding of the feelings between love, hate & everything in the middle.

Finally got around to drawing Mamakechi design wahoo! We’ve named her Fumiyo Akechi. :D She’s a former yankee girl group member. She’s very fiery in personality, and i think it rubs off on Akechi :P They have a very unique relationship. Not healthy, but not horrible.

After his creation, they utilize Robogo to continue the psychotic breakdowns, which forces Ren & the PTs back into action. Upon exploring the re-built Mementos, they come across a vaguely familiar face <3

in this AU, after his death, Shido’s accomplices find Akechi’s corpse outside the Diet building & make him into a botched Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon using old ass documents found from the Kirijo group’s archives :p

Ren & Akechi get to see each other very rarely when all the classes meet together to practice. Ren notices he’s the only one in Yalba’s care that doesnt follow the crowd & tries to talk to him, but Akechi is very hostile. But sometimes, Ren catches him watching from afar.

Akechi is kept around despite his headstrong behaviour bc of his talent. He is revelled by his peers, trained mercilessly, & commended highly by Yalba & other aliens for his endurance & willpower. He is basically Yalba’s star child.

Phile is known for his strange experimentation with letting his humans do as they please & encouraging their individuality. Yalba is very much the opposite. All his humans have broken spirits & are essentially mindless dolls… except for an especially exceptional child, Akechi.

the plot is that Yalbadoth is the Alien that owns Akechi & Philemon owns a sanctuary where the PTs & Ren stay. Ren used to be owned by a different Alien before he rebelled & was taken into Phile’s care bc he was a troublemaker.

A total stalemate occurs when Akechi suddenly cuts contact, pushing Ren to look to the Metaverse to clear the stubborn thorns that consume his heart.

till, this penchant isnt enough for Ren to breach the gap between them. if anything, it further estranges; each step closer Ren takes, Akechi takes 5 backward. both whirling in a chaotic dance of vaguely similar pattern, swathed in the arms of their destinies, never each others.
