Sad to learn of the death of Cecile Richards, a true champion for the right of women to control their own bodies. She was strong woman who was the daughter of another strong woman. May she rest in power with her mom.

Watching bits of transition day I am struck by the image of Melania that portrayed by her fashion choices today. Her hat obscures her face, its wide brim creating a barrier not to be crossed, and her silhouette in her all black attire reminding me of Morticia
