- European nations deserve blame for depending on American weapons and Russian gas.
- Trump and Vance behaved pettily, foolishly and rudely last week.
- It's not liberal to want war.
- It's not wrong to want to end war.

Let me rephrase, tariffs are not an attack on democracy, they are a common economic tool used by many countries. Whether good or bad, they are legal, and reflect voter priorities, and don’t automatically undermine democratic institutions. Is he missusing them for political leverage? Maybe.

Texas get more of their energy from renewable sources than California, and it's not because they care about climate change more. It's good for federal agencies and local government to stay away from renewable projects.

You know what the verge needs? Somebody that likes technology reporting about technology.

Oh I see, it's an issue with missing priorities. Fair.

I genuinely appreciate the respect.

Elon, Peter, Marc, and maybe David Sacks are virtually the only right leaning voices in the valley. Why do you consider them autocrats?

On the ratio, the numbers on this article match my anecdotal experience pretty well:

Netflix employees send 98% of their political contributions to Democrats, while those at Qualcomm split theirs evenly between parties.

Honest question, what's the issue with these proposals?

Have you guys read what it says on the seal 🤣

Tech is predominantly left-leaning, and so is media. You can look at any metric. It makes sense that they are, because Republicans traditionally have deprioritized the arts.

I suspected your cognitive level, but thank you for confirming it.

I could not agree more with the need for freedom of speech. I think what the founding fathers didn't predict is that corporations were going to own all platforms for public discourse. What's even worse, their business model is based in ad revenue. Advertisers don't want to be associated with...

It is insane. There's a good chance this was connected to the New Orleans attack as well.

I believe you were threatening with having @latinqueen.bsky.social reported/banned because you disagree with he takes. That's a violation of freedom of speech, which is only allowed because most discourse happens on privately owned platforms.
