I became a fiber artist because of a story about a young girl collecting wool from the hedges to make mittens for a Christmas present. I read the story as a child and the process was so fascinating that it stuck with me until I could learn how to do it as an adult.

And here I go thinking that my love of spinning is just a fun hobby.

I view dipshit as evil but in a deeply weird way. So some dipshit icing on the evil cake of RFK, Jr cake is that he doesn’t believe in germ theory.

He is a dipshit eugenicist.

Same! As a child, I used to be annoyed that people were calling things lakes that you could see across.

Like in Roquefort? There are many foods that get their flavor profile from an acidic vomit flavor.

Personally, for plain chocolate my sweet spot is Italian. That being said there seems like there is a perfect regional chocolate bar for every region’s chocolate.

I have seen the contributions from my great-grandmother to the church cookbook. They are…something.

It isn’t “supplemented” as much as not reviewed. Lead is naturally occurring or can seep into soil from industry. From there it gets into the food supply. Farmers don’t want to toss the food, suppliers don’t want to test it and so on.

This, it makes it so much easier than guessing.

Unrelated: I can’t see the name Blake (or a few other names) without thinking of Key and Peele’s substitute teacher sketch.

He is so dramatic.

That was one of the best moments of the internet.

Trust me I know. I was on tumblr for the malachite discussion. Pretty rocks don’t go in your body.

That is what is preventing the diy.

Fair enough. Although, I think the woo is what costs extra.

Confession: I think those water bottles with the crystals are pretty, and the two things that are keeping me from buying one: the magic charge and I don’t want people to think I bought it for the magic.

And it is so annoying if you are a shiny rock makes me happy because it is fun to fidget with and looks pretty not because it has magic powers person. I just want a pretty rock without all of this.

It isn’t like they are penguins.

Don’t worry Susan Collins is probably concerned.
