The timing of it strongly suggests image management / control. The narrative heat is PGMOL isn't fit for purpose & needs reform. So why not shift focus on your ineptitude and put the spotlight back on Arsenal. Simple

Watched his presser: sounded very much past tense. Like he was listing why certain things didn't happen, e.g. Isak's release clause in Jan etc.

I love the tactical side of the game and I've never been left more clueless as to a manager's ideas than Loletegui. It's a real mess with & without the ball. Need to replace immediately

Very true. Most optimistic hypothetical possible: Arsenal get better at attacking in other ways in Saka's absence and are forced to make a good move in the market. Then drop Saka in & we go to another level.

Yh, would need them to fatigue in the Spring and even get a few overload injuries. Only chance is if we can stay close enough that we go to a new gear later this ssn while they fade

This is true. Pep did this once when he decided to play Liverpool in transition. Played Foden left and rightie on the right and they picked Liverpool off

I wish I had time. Other than when I'm procrastinating 🤪 ... I'd suggest a virtual meet and team up. I honestly think we could slay and doing a non-white thing is what the people really need :)

Not only 2 - 0.3xG but we were inches away from scoring a goal that doesn't count towards it (Saka's inswinging cross marginally missing Rice's toe.) There were a few occasions we didn't attack crosses and goals went begging

I can't recall meeting a single Palace fan here. I've even seen more Newcastle fans out. Arsenal's supporters group completely takes over 1 of the 2 soccer pubs (Celtic). Makes no sense

Strange one. I live in CO and have not met a single Palace fan. There's even more Newcastle fans here, for sure. The Arsenal's supporters group is pretty rowdy and completely takes over one of two footie pubs in the city

Yeah, always thought the Moyes criticism of not being expansive was misguided. The backline has always been very subpar and slow. It doesn't matter who your attackers are - you'll never win territory that way

I'm interested in the tech stuff - class 4 & lower class 5 but def not with that load. More mixed running/hiking/alpine scrambling. I'm very UL when I backpack, but would still be a little scary

Ah, yes, I probably mixed them up. It's been awhile. I have a picture somewhere of lower too. Ran it and had my picture taken at the fall :)

I don't think it's even the smallest coincidence that Nwaneri came on when Zinny did the last couple times. A 17 year old Nwaneri won't necessarily offer what Ø does in earlier phases + offers a bit more urgency/directness in later phases. #Balance

Still unlikely. What Arsenal needs is the squad players to step up like they do for Liverpool. Then buy a couple more attackers in the summer when the players are available

Seemed like he switched it up starting the 2nd half. And it honestly made me wonder if he got a call from Webb at HT. Like there were very legitimate yellows he didn't give out 2nd half
