New world record for MCMG NES Trilogy 100%! I didn't think I would ever get this record, but since I got much more consistent at SMB3 this year, it gave me more confidence to go for it.

As of today, I am officially the first person to beat the original 5 Mario games on their original versions in under 4 hours. This is one of the most monumental barriers for MCMG speedrunning and I'm glad I did it on my first ever run! With loads time is 4:00:59.703.

Today was meant to be the last day of SMW prep for Pentathlon, and I ended up getting a PB out of the run! I "clean clipped" in FOI2 which lost ~40s.
With this run, I can still get a low 3:58! I'll spend this week derusting 2J+2U, and then Pentathlon will begin next weekend!

Here's my first completed run since this past summer. I was still carrying a high 1:27 pace into part 2 of Vanilla Dome (~70min into the run), but took an unfortunate death in VD3 followed by one in SW1. Looking to get a mid 1:28 for 3:59 Pentathlon so honestly not a bad start!
