IF I ASKED HIM WHAT QUALIFICATIONS HE HAS, I would ask this as a follow up:

"*In the face of almost unilateral opposition from the scientific community*, why is it that you feel your contrarian beliefs warrant legal mandates that are ill advised by people with much more weighted credentials?"

If the DNC decides Elon is all good, then the electoral process is a dead project for anyone left of Gavin Newsome

Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, its a bit old and janky, but it's super narrative heavy and very well written\

Theres also divinity original sin 2, its a CRPG like baldurs gate 3, but its less about cutscenes and more about the writing and raw voice acting

Or getting rid of it entirely (likely with no refund of existing money in the accounts)

I feel the same way about my family, just a couple months ago my mother said that she'd stop supporting Trump if he did anything unconstitutional, earlier this week I demonstrated the unconstitutionality of a few of the orders... Her support for Trump has never been stronger

I see, thats awful

also, many of these vacant homes include rentals, meaning active usage in one way or another. Also giving these VACANT homes to people doesnt suddenly create a homeless person? The whole point of the word vacant is that it has no inhabitants, someone who just bought this home would be an inhabitant
January 14, 2025 at 1:57 AM
No these homes are in the currently active inventory of homes, so ghost towns unlikely, and these homes could be vetted to make sure they are low priority, glad I could help 👍
January 14, 2025 at 1:53 AM
thanks for the false dichotomy mr internet man, actually im gonna stick with lets solve homelessness by giving the ~500,000 homeless people some of the ~15.1 million empty homes and reduce the activity of big business in the housing market and increase funding for building new homes and mixed zones
January 14, 2025 at 1:48 AM
This doesnt actually go against what I said, glad I could help 👍
January 14, 2025 at 1:43 AM
In-fact, I would love to change policy to delegate more funding to cities to build more housing in local areas and increase the availability of mixed zoning, but that can't happen if the primary drivers of homes are businesses with profit incentives who lobby for housing scarcity
January 14, 2025 at 12:50 AM
Further, the rampant commodification of housing from businesses is partly WHY new housing isn't built. Scarcity drives markets, whats a better way to bump the market other than lobbying to keep mixed zoning and residential districts from being built?
January 14, 2025 at 12:45 AM
I'm not sure what you're disagreeing with, I didn't say housing shortages aren't an issue, I said that the main issue plaguing most on the widest scale is the commodification of housing. I never said don't change policy to build new housing. Not sure where you got that from 🙃
January 14, 2025 at 12:43 AM
No, not really, housing is quite abundant, generally. Housing not being plentiful is only an issue on a case by case basis in specific regions, not the root issue.
January 13, 2025 at 10:00 PM
No hate btw I love your stuff
January 13, 2025 at 9:45 PM
I think I know why this might get you into trouble. The problem, at its core isn't that housing isn't plentiful, its that housing is sold as a commodity. The lack of abundant housing is an issue of specific areas, not the general issue. There are more homes than homeless people by over 10x.
January 13, 2025 at 9:45 PM
Yes but that's a demographic issue, not a design flaw, bad apples not the system itself
January 9, 2025 at 5:03 PM
Yes but firefighters are not the enforcement arm of the state designed to use violence against civilians, so if one of them is racist it is literally just a bad apple
January 9, 2025 at 4:59 PM
I know exactly what this means
