One of my friends groups does a semi-regular "Comic Book Draft" where we come up with books based on different themes and then "draft" different characters to be in our books. Latest theme was "Oops, All X-Force!" I decided to go in the satirical direction of X-Statix and pitched "The X-Ecutive."

Happy birthday! I’m sure this doesn’t count, but I only started reading X-Men comics a couple of years ago (was mostly Avengers before then), and X-Statix is such a great series.

Switching from Goodreads to StoryGraph was extremely easy. I've been enjoying it the past few months. The pages read chart looks crazy though because I usually only mark when I start a book and when I finish it instead of tracking my progress as I go

Haven’t been on here too much in the past week as I was taking care of my mental health. We went to the Asian Night Market over the weekend, which featured food from so many yummy restaurants and food trucks. I’m delighted by this 27-ounce reusable boba cup. It brings me joy ❤️

I resisted really working on decorating the house/making improvements/etc since 2020 because we had plans to move to another city/state. But with housing prices, mortgage rates, and rent prices all outrageously high, we are here for the long term. So anyway I bought this cute unicorn rug
