i've always been iffy on gachas, but i made an exception here since the story and characters were so enjoyable. never again ig. wish it'd just been a traditional rpg with a one-time cost.

If I'm forgetting something, or something else comes out to change that, then I'll eat my words, but at the moment I feel pretty damn comfortable referring to them as a canon pairing.

Like, yes, I was also under the impression that this was a queerbait situation, but literally nothing in the game has said that their "partnership" is platonic, other than the other characters perhaps not actually being aware of the nature of their relationship.

Everything seems bright and lively and fun, and there are huge empty cutouts where buildings have been torn from the ground, and these things are equally normal.

I maintain that the group dynamics for Tribe Nine are one of the game's strongest points--these characters feel like they really do have meaningful relationships and history and interactions with each other.
