DWTS used to be two nights a week - the first night was all the dances, and then the next night some special performances + elimination results. So instead of squeezing in voting during the show voting took place for a certain period of time after the Monday show and before the Tuesday show

Like not to keep harping on this but if Alix had gone first and then they saw Robert’s foxtrot after there’s no way they could possibly give him a perfect score in comparison lol
