So much of this review of GNX I want to rip to shreds, but I want to say this. Any one who sees Kendrick Lamar headlining the Super Bowl because he’s this “righteous, socially conscious man” clearly can’t see passed how this is a BIG win for hip hop as a culture & and art form.

KENDRICK LAMAR JUST DROPPED THE ALBUM!

August 20, 2002 cafeteria tables and pencil were giving a greater purpose. Outside of “Grindin” this album start to finish is a masterpiece. One of my favorite albums of all-time from one of my favorite hip-hop duos.

Today is the 30 Year Anniversary of two of the most iconic hip hop records of all-time. You will hear a very special two hours dedicated to songs and samples from each record tonight on WNXP at 7 and 9 p.m.
