Final night at #JAPANCUTS went out with a banger— SHIN GODZILLA: ORTHOCHROMATIC which had its Intl Premiere at Japan Society last week. Also caught the NEW 4K restoration of Shinji Sōmai's MOVING which left me in tears! Always a SOLD OUT showing at Japan Society.

Incredible first time exp at #JAPANCUTS last night for the rare imported 35mm screening of AUGUST IN THE WATER (1995) w director Gakuryu Ishii in-person to introduce it and Q&A after. A collectible zine and pin were gifted to ticket holders. Sold out packed house! Place was buzzing with excitement.
