Hi, I'm Marola. A former victimologist now living full-time on the road, learning sailing, and writing about travel adventures, nomad life and the sociology of places. Also creating authentic travel videos on YouTube!
The experience was completely private and therefore so enjoyable, and this repeated itself throughout the entire trip.
Now that I know what space feels like… How can I ever go back to camping in Europe? If you know of any countries with a similar camping experience, please let me know! (4/4)

Arriving at our first campsite in Namibia was a SHOCK. Our pitch, a platform of sand where we could have parked not one, but maybe up to 5 Ford Rangers, included a toilet and shower building, an insanely large kitchen, and a seating area with a magnificent view of the lake—all just for us! (3/4)

But last year, we experienced what it's like to camp in a country the size of Germany and Italy combined, but with only 2,6 million people inside. (2/4)

Traveling Namibia has completely ruined camping for me.
Before, I happily crammed my bike and tent or small campervan in between other guests on Italian, French, or Portuguese campsites. (1/4)
