Lucy used to go on strike for turkey every Thanksgiving. She would eat nothing else until 24 hours after the last bit of turkey was gone, when hunger would cause her to relent.

In life, Lucy hated all other cats, but Lauren and I have no doubt that she had a paw in our improbable finding of Merlin starving in a ditch six weeks after her death.

For 14 years, Batko, the neighbor's cat, has tried to be friendly to Matchka. She will have nothing of it, and hisses at him. Usually he's stoic about it, but every now and then he will bat her bunt as she walks past him! (Matchka on the left, Batko on the right)

I was raised as a dog person. Lucy was my spirit guide into the world of cats. Gone since 2007; I think of her every day.

I just looked at the link you provide, and those sections are currently there, but are not accessible from the menu on the right side of the screen. I had to scroll down the text on the left side to find them. On my laptop, the menu began to scroll again at Article 9, Section 10.

Toilet paper is a known attractive nuisance for cats, and should not count agains behaviores reports. You may be entitled to a cash settlement.

Lucy used to wake us up at 2. a.m. because through the window she saw another cat across the street and wanted us to let her out so she could go attempt to beat it up! (She weighed 8 pounds.)

Oliver used to bring them into the house so gently that they were unharmed. We'd come home to him staring up at a hummingbird moth on the wall. They were docile and easily trapped and put back outside.

For a while, Lucy would pretend to want me to do something for her and then steal the chair when I got up. But then she learned it was more forthright just to hop on my lap and claw at my butt to signify that she wanted me to give her the chair.

Lucy used to climb an apple tree in our back yard and loudly complain that she was stuck. The first couple of times, we got out the ladder etc. Then we realized that if we ignored her pleas, a few minutes later she'd appear on the ground as if by magic.

Lucy lived for a decade with FIV. What finally got her at the age of about 16 was the melamine scandal of 2007. I miss her every day!
