I say do it! Try to meet the audience where they’re at & gently move the needle. If you understand their stance on the issue and are prepared with responses that encourage critical thinking about the issue, this is a real opportunity. Agree w/ above - try to get questions in advance

About to finish my PhD. My dissertation is on US racial disparities and birth outcomes but my background is in international RH + MCH. I’ve worked on USAID projects for a decade—one of them is slated to be canceled entirely. I am very much not ok. If you’re holding on to hope, I’d love to know how.
