The hospital in the small town in Tennessee where I grew up closed in 2014 basically because the governor declined the extra
Medicare funds offered. It did reopen in 2022. Medicaid and Medicare keep hospitals in business for all, including the privately insured.

Colorado is not a swing state. We have a Democratic state House and Senate and a Democratic Governor. Both of our Senators are Democrats. We went for Obama, H.Clinton, and Joe Biden. Hickenlooper had no excuse. I’ll be calling his office on Monday for an explaination.

I’m so sorry. People against this fought so hard. Conservative Tennessee public school educators, like my niece in law, who did not want this are at one of the many “find out” moments that are to come.

I had no reason to hope for the best, but I did. It was even worse than I expected. Felon 47 owes the families and friends of the victims a huge apology for the blatant disrespect he just showed to them and their loved ones who were lost. Of course, that will never happen.
