"You misbehaving <i>child</i>," Suguru pressed closer, their faces an inch away as he bared his teeth in a snarl. "Is there anything you won't disrespect?" "Nothing and no one," Satoru said, heart thundering in his chest. "I'm wondrously egalitarian like that." Suguru growled, grip tight on Satoru's shoulders, pressing him back against the wall as if he was trying to push him through the plaster. "Suguru," Satoru whispered into the finger's breadth between their faces, though he didn't know what he was going to say. Suguru didn't give him a chance to find out. He crashed their lips together with a sound that was something between a snarl and a whine. There was no chance at all that Satoru could resist. It was foolish, selfish, perhaps even <i>cruel</i> to indulge this, and yet the sweetness of Suguru's lips against his own made Satoru melt. He reached for Suguru, hand curling around his hip. Grabbing that hand by the wrist, Suguru slammed it against the wall above Satoru's head, pinning it there. "Don't touch me." Satoru's heart stuttered. He could barely make out Suguru's expression in the dark room, but the anger in his tone was clear. Satoru's throat closed up, choking off all words. Suguru's name was a weight on his tongue, but he couldn't shape it into sound. Drifting his free hand along Satoru's jaw, Suguru mapped the line of it with gentle, careful fingertips, a stark contrast to the rough grip he had on Satoru's wrist. His hand curled around the side of Satoru's neck, thumb lifting up his chin. Breath shuddering out of him, Satoru let his eyes fall closed. Suguru's hand clenched on his wrist, tightening and then relaxing. His lips hovered by Satoru's throat, breath teasing at the skin. He smelled of apples and roses, tansy and caramel. <i>Like home</i>, Satoru thought, nonsensically. That was what Suguru's homeland smelled like, not his own.
