Thank you! I think they are just called rope baskets. You wrap fabric around the rope and coil it up. Here are a few that I finished.

Thank you! This is actually cotton rope wrapped in fabric. It’s deceptive because it looks bigger in this photo, but it will be a bowl. Here’s one that’s finished. It took me awhile to get the hang of it.
