Hi Nele, I am sorry, I did not know that word trichinopoly. I know the word Viking Knit for tis technique. You are right of course. It is not knitting, but the result looks a bit like knitted. And since it is done by one thread, it is closer to knitting than to weaving. I enjoyed myself with it!
