I'm sad to be missing the final #RailsConf. I went to my first RailsConf in 2016 and at the time I had no idea just how transformative those few days would be for my career. Several jobs and countless friendships are a direct result of those few days in KC. 🤍

I am onboarding onto a Java Spring Boot service and the temptation to just rewrite it with Rails is like a siren song. I love type checking but a plug and play framework is so powerful.

I am so bummed to be missing #RubyConf this year, in my former hometown of Chicago no less. I will be living vicariously through the rest of y'all.

I have been off Twitter for a good long while now and honestly not being on it has been net good for my mental health but seems worthwhile to migrate over here anyway.
