A few weeks ago I was able to break away from work to officiate the wedding of two dear friends. Of course the theme had me excited enough that I just couldn’t say no.

Clocked about 13 hours today. Work has been a marathon leading up to Artemis 2. But today we had some extra help (well not really. They suck at wearing proper hard hats)

Work has been an absolute handful but not being able to have my phone most of the day and being too tired to be on it when I get home has been kinda nice.

I went through a movie poster phase when I was in college. These are some of my faves. I had several theater editions with the intent to backlight but never got around to it before being domesticated and taking them down lol

And as much as I want to fully decorate for Halloween I’m making myself do that next weekend. I did pull all the decor into the garage and did some little things. Relaxing is hard y’all. I’ve already worked out, fixed my bird feeder, and did laundry today 🫠

I may not have returned to DragonCon this year, but that’s ok because I was here to sign the Artemis II mission banner. And yes that’s a little Trek delta after my name. It’s been part of my signature since like middle school 🤓

Saw this over on IG and it really sums up how I feel. I know a lot of my friends love her (to a terrifying point). But now more than ever we need to recognize the rich need us way more than we need them and we need to stop idolizing the people who would spit on us if we were on fire.

Despite its flaws (mostly the cast and crew…), I still really enjoy those Michael Bay Transformers movies.
