Is #ai a threat to the future of free and #opensource software?

The age group that generates the most ad revenue (14-59) simply is gone. Switched to streaming.

Before these new numbers the big private networks already prepared to shut down the linear TV in 2030. Yes. Shut it down. Pulling the plug on the whole distribution system.

The market is shifting […]

I am working for a larger TV network atm. And let me share something you might suspect, but haven't heard directly from the source.

Linear TV usage is dropping fast. In August we had a record low of 93 min average watch time in Germany. The year before, it was at 106. This fact, together with […]

Opt-in by default should be illegal.

As right-wing oligarchs were buying up mainstream and social media, the mistake everyone else made was thinking that these purchases were based on a normal assessment of value. Remember when Elon Musk “overpayed” for Twitter?

They understood that controlling the message and narrative is priceless.
Make no mistake, everything that’s happening in the United States is being significantly enabled by the right wing oligarch capture of media.

Every other country needs to do everything possible to keep that from happening where they are.

Including protecting the CBC from Poilievre here in Canada.

Is there such a thing as an online survey / form site that you can configure and setup by providing a config file of some sorts?

I mean, having such a config in git and working on it jointly to polish all of it would be ideal and then just "publish" to the site once the survey goes live.
