Lego Spider-Man Advent Calendar – Day #1

After being a relatively one-note side character mostly for personal conflict or dramatic irony, and more absent in the 80s, Aunt May enjoyed some proper character development in the 90s. These were mostly bits written by J.M. DeMatteis, who is obviously the GOAT with introspective character pieces.

I don’t read much manga, but I recently got this big boi and thought I’d give it a try – only one chapter in so far, but it seems interesting enough. I’ll certainly finish it, and then we’ll see whether I want to move on to the next Omnibus. #aot #manga #comics

Started reading Spider-Man 2099 for the first time recently, and I’m surprised by how solid and across the board different from the mainline Spidey it is. Worldbuilding in particular is interesting, and I love the concept of the cults forming around superheroes. #comics #comicbooks #spider-man
